The kiddie area is well-designed with smaller slides and interactive water features that work great for toddlers and early elementary kids. What really surprised me was the hot tub - not something you see at every municipal park, and it's a nice touch for parents who want to relax while keeping an eye on their kids. The facility is clean and well-maintained, which speaks well of Sulphur's parks department.

You'll find plenty of deck chairs and some shaded areas, though I'd recommend bringing an umbrella if you're planning to stay all day. The lifeguards are attentive and the pool deck never feels overcrowded, even on busy summer weekends.
